Current Student & Staff Login

As the global situation surrounding the Covid-19 virus continues to develop, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure all members of the ALRA community that we are taking a number of steps to minimise the impact on our operations. We are monitoring the situation continuously and making plans to act quickly if the situation changes. Students and staff will be kept informed of the latest advice through social media, by email or via SMS messaging.

From Monday the 23rd March 2020, ALRA will close all buildings other than for safety and security checks which will be ongoing.

Students will be given details of how their courses will move to an online delivery platform as soon as possible to ensure they are able to complete their year/course of study. No student will be disadvantaged in respect of academic outcomes by the current situation and faculty are already available online for tutorial and preparatory work.

The team is working to ensure that, in a situation such as this, there is as minimal impact as possible on the student experience and where possible learning can continue remotely.

Platforms for online pastoral and counselling support have been introduced to provide students with 24-hour contact.

We do not expect to re-open any ALRA buildings before July 1st subject to Government directives during the current situation.

For prospective students, auditions will be conducted online and by video submission, and our Admissions department is currently finalising the details of this process while arranging times for applicants.

Updates will appear on our social media platforms to ensure the quickest and widest coverage, and information will be sent by email and text to staff and students should the situation change due to a change of Government policy.

At a time of crisis and uncertainty we can draw great strength from one another. We ask that we all continue to follow the official guidance and in doing so continue to support and show solidarity with each other as best we can. When anxiety is high, when personal plans have been disrupted and when worries about our health are paramount, the kindness of fellow students can make an enormous difference.

Please try to keep well over Easter and into the new term, care for those around you and follow the PHE guidance.
