ALRA Alumni in Eavesdropping

Angel Theatre Company's latest production is the original piece of theatre, Eavesdropping directed by ALRA alumnus John Patterson. Patterson graduated from ALRA's Postgraduate Acting course in 1996 and has since gained a wealth of experience and success, having worked in the industry as an actor and director for twenty years.

Eavesdropping is a truly unique piece, 'consisting of a variety of scenes, each varying in length' that was both devised and scripted. What's more, an impressive fifty percent of the cast appearing in the production are ALRA alumni, namely, Sarah KerrSamantha Loxley, Anna BonnetLara Bell and Bradley Crees.

They each graduated from ALRA's Three Year Acting BA (Hons) programme; Loxley in 2013, Bell and Bonnet in 2014, Crees in 2015 and Kerr is one of our recent 2016 graduates.

The show will be opening next week and will run from the 5th - 16th July at the Baron's Court Theatre. There is also going to be a free Q & A session for actors on Saturday, 9th of July, led by director Patterson after the matinee performance, though those coming to the evening performance are also welcome to attend.

Patterson is presenting this as an opportunity for current drama students to come and ask questions - about practical ways to prepare for working professionally after training.

ALRA will always support grdauates and wish the Eavesdropping production much success. If you are an alumni and would also like to share your story, please get in touch via email on alumni@alra.co.uk and a member of the team will be able to assist you.
